Municipal Park

This 25-acre parcel adjacent to the municipal offices may be entered either from Short Cut Road or from the Ira Township municipal parking lot.

The site includes
  • a pavilion
  • toddler & child playscapes and sand box
  • picnic tables
  • grill and cleared picnic areas.
Within the park is the nature trail walking path, well maintained and attractively traversed by Swan Creek. The path is available year 'round! There are several benches and two foot bridges for residents to enjoy. Please remember to keep your pet on a leash and put all waste disposal in the trash cans provided under the pavilion.
HOURS
Dawn to Dusk, year round. Use of the pavilion is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Park Rules include NO:
  • Alcoholic Beverages
  • Motorized vehicles
  • Paintball in the park
  • Pets must be on a Leash

Water Works Park

Located at the end of Waterworks Drive has a fishing pier, paved walkway, and handicap access. Park is accessible by foot or bike. Two handicapped spots are available. No other parking!

Ira Township Garden Club

The Garden Club meets the 1st Wednesday of each month, April through September.
Club is open to all residents, all ages! Our Master Gardeners and volunteers organize gardening events, classes and projects and work in the Township flower beds as their schedules allow. Gardens are available for adoption and makeovers!
