The main purpose of the Building Department
is to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all citizens of Ira Township.

The department also oversees and inspects all construction and building projects within the township,
as well as issuing all building permits and is responsible for all plan reviews.
The Zoning Enforcement division enforces all Township Code of Ordinances for compliance
to ensure and protect the public health, safety and welfare.
