Ira's Municipal Park has recently added a variety of exciting new things to enjoy. 
Stop in and play corn hole, gaga ball, enjoy the play scapes, stroll through our beautiful trail, 
play some disk golf, or take a moment to relax in our beautiful gazebo and memorial butterfly garden.

Upcoming Programs

Ira Township Park
This 25-acre parcel adjacent to the municipal offices may be entered either from Short Cut Road or from the Ira Township municipal parking lot.
The site includes
  • A pavilion
  • Toddler & child playscapes and sand box
  • Picnic tables
  • Grill and cleared picnic areas.
  • Nature trials
  • 9 hole disc golf course
Within the park is the nature trail walking path, well maintained and attractively traversed by Swan Creek. The path is available year 'round! There are several benches and two foot bridges for residents to enjoy. Please remember to keep your pet on a leash and put all waste disposal in the trash cans provided under the pavilion.
Our parks are monitored but we 
still need your help to keep our 
parks safe and tidy. If you SEE 
Dawn to Dusk, year round. 
Use of the pavilion is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Park Rules include:
  • No Alcoholic Beverages
  • No Motorized vehicles
  • No Paintball in the park
  • Pets must be on a leash
  • Please pick up after your pet
Disc Golf Map 
Located in the Ira Township park is a 9 hole disc golf course. Our course is available to you year round, during business hours disks are available for rent at the Ira Township Library. Hole 1 starts behind the township offices, ending near the basketball court. Parking is available in the south east end of the township parking lot. Grab some friends and family and come and enjoy the beautiful landscape throughout the trails.

Boat Launch available at M29 and Palms Rd
Located at the end of Waterworks Drive. There is a paved walkway, and handicap access. Park is accessible by foot or bike. Two handicapped spots are available. Limited parking!
