Many Michigan residents who already are registered to vote can change their

official state address, including their voter registration address, online at no cost.

Visit  https://www.michigan.gov/sos and follow the simple instructions.

The State Primary will be held on August 4, 2026.  Voters continue to have the opportunity to vote by mail by requesting, without an excuse or reason, an Application for Absent Voter Ballot, or voters can now request to join the Permanent Absent Voter Ballot List which will no longer require a voter to complete an application but instead to automatically receive a ballot by mail for every applicable election.  If you are interested in becoming a Permanent Absent Ballot voter or obtaining an Application for Absent Voter Ballot, please contact the Clerk's office for more information.

Early Voting, which is in-person voting that includes inserting a ballot into a tabulator, is available on designated days before a federal or state election.  Designated early voting dates for the August primary will be July 25, 2026 through August 2, 2026 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm each day at the Township Hall.  Early Voting totals are not tabulated until 8:00 pm on Election Day.

On Election Day the polls will open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm for all qualified voters who would like to vote in-precinct on election day.  If you are voting in person at the precinct, please remember to remove any campaign buttons or cover up clothing which bears reference to a political party or interest group, campaign slogan or a candidate(s) name.

Township drop boxes, located in the Township Hall parking lot and in the lobby of the Township Hall,  can be used to deliver your ballots and other election mail.  If you prefer to mail your ballot, all election return envelopes now have pre-paid postage so you will only need to drop your election mail in a U.S. Postage Service receptable, additional postage will not be required.
